Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus has posted on Instagram ‘you deserve too much’ after Tottenham Hotspur summer signing Richarlison was named in Tite’s Brazil squad for the upcoming 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Arsenal player himself will join his Tottenham rival in the Middle East and they might just find themselves starting their side’s opening game against Serbia on November 24.

When Tite’s squad was announced, Richarlison posted a video of his family and friends celebrating the news, with Arsenal’s Jesus telling the Tottenham player in the comments section ‘you deserve too much’.

BRAZIL’S OUTSTANDING ATTACK

To no-one’s surprise, Brazil will head to Qatar as one of the favourites to lift their first World Cup crown since 2002 when the likes of Ronaldinho and Ronaldo were running the ship.

Now there is a new crop of attacking talent coming through the ranks, they might not be as talented as those two, but they can certainly write their names into the history books if everything goes right.

From PSG superstar Neymar to the new kid on the block in Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli, there will be some serious spice and trickery to this forward line.

To the point that Tite can afford to leave a player of Roberto Firmino’s calibre at home, despite the Liverpool forward hitting his best form this season.

Either way, when the knockout stages arrive, you don’t want to be pitting your talents against Brazi, because whilst they still have that flair in attack, they have experience, aggression and a serious bite to their midfield.

Casemiro and Fabinho are the experienced heads in the middle of the park, whilst Bruno Guimaraes is playing the best football of his career at Champions League-chasing Newcastle United.
