Neymar is not having the best of times at Paris Saint-Germain at the moment, and the Brazilian star has been linked with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, Graham Potter’s Chelsea and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United among other clubs.
90min reported this week that Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle United all have been offered the chance to sign the Brazil international forward in the summer of 2023.
Intermediaries have reportedly spoken to the aforementioned clubs and have told them that the former Barcelona star is interested in a move to the Premier League.
PSG are willing to sell the 31-year-old forward in the summer transfer window.
90min added that during a recent meeting between Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly and PSG counterpart Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Neymar’s name was mentioned.
The report claimed that Boehly is ‘intrigued’ by Neymar’s possible availability.

However, according to Bild journalist Christian Falk in CaughtOffSide, Neymar is too expensive for Chelsea, and that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners will not be able to afford him.
Now, this might come as good news for Liverpool, but you also have to wonder if Chelsea are unable to afford Neymar, then how could the Reds?
After all, Chelsea have been spending big money under Boehly.
Liverpool-linked Neymar too expensive for Chelsea
Falk said: “I was reading an article from Le Parisien and they were writing about a secret meeting over Neymar, which involved Todd Boehly and Chelsea and a potential deal to bring him to London.
“I have to disappoint Chelsea fans – I’ve been told there’s nothing in this, it’s not true. It’s too expensive. It’s a nice idea but it’s not going to happen.
“PSG would like to find a solution but, at the moment, there’s no available suitor who can pay a salary of nearly €37m a year.”
