Owen Hargreaves has told BT Sport, during their live Europa League coverage, that Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey made the game look ‘too easy’ yesterday.
Arsenal picked up a 2-1 win against Rapid Wien in Austria last night, with Partey making his full debut.
The powerful midfielder impressed, as he set the tone for his Arsenal side.
Partey not only mopped up excellently in the middle of the pitch, but he also showed his passing range and ability in possession.
And Hargreaves was hugely impressed by the Arsenal new boy’s display, which he thought was of Champions League quality.
“This guy makes it look so easy,” he said. “Everyone is looking to him. That’s a number 10 pass and he’s a holding midfield player.

“You can tell he’s been playing in the Champions League as it just looks too easy for him.”
Partey’s showing surely means that he will now keep his place in Arsenal’s starting line-up at the weekend.
He appears to be the exact kind of midfielder Arsenal have been lacking for so many years, and his first full display for the Gunners has only increased the excitement about his arrival at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal are next in action on Sunday, when they take on Leicester City.
