Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus has stated on Instagram that it’s ‘too easy’ for Arsenal’s Thomas Partey after his heroics for Ghana.
The Arsenal player produced a rare moment of magic by scoring a free-kick for his country during their crucial 1-0 win over Zimbabwe in their World Cup qualifier yesterday.
It’s something the Arsenal fans will, no doubt, want to see more of on the domestic stage because it’s something missing in his game – this is what Partey posted after netting that free-kick.
Partey will point towards his lack of minutes on the field as a reason behind why he hasn’t really been able to get his engine going.
The £45 million player (BBC Sport) has had to deal with a number of injuries, which have disrupted any rhythm he is trying to build.
But he is back on the field of play now and firing, both for his club and his country, which is delighting his fans.
It has actually been a successful international window for many Arsenal players during this past week or so.
Partey wasn’t the only one who found the back of the net because Emile Smith Rowe, Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also got on the scoresheet for their respective countries.
Now it’s a case of translating all of that into Arsenal colours and helping push Mikel Arteta’s side up the Premier League table.
There is that worry that if the Gunners stumble once more under their Spanish coach then it is curtains for him.
