Cristiano Ronaldo enjoyed yet another great season at Real Madrid. The Portugal international forward was instrumental in Los Blancos winning La Liga and the Champions League during the 2016-17 campaign.

The former Manchester United star is 32 years of age, but the Portuguese is going strong as ever and remains one of the top two footballers in the world.

However, recent speculation has linked the former Sporting Lisbon ace with a move away from Madrid, arguably the biggest club in the world.

According to Sky Sports, Ronaldo wants to leave the Spanish and European giants in the summer transfer window. It has been reported that the four-time Ballon d’Or winner does not want to play in Spain anymore.

Aston Villa chairman Tony Xia has been urged by one fan of the Championship club to make a move for Ronaldo, to which the Chinese businessman has replied.

During the 2016-17 season, as stated on WhoScored, Ronaldo scored 25 goals in 29 La Liga appearances and 12 goals in 13 Champions League games.
