Tony Xia shares his hopes regarding two Aston Villa players

Aston Villa are not going to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.

Brentford's Scott Hogan scores their third goal

Aston Villa chairman Tony Xia has revealed on social networking site Twitter his hopes for Scott Hogan and Jonathan Kodjia.

Xia has stated that he hopes that the Villa forwards both score and provided an assist in one match.

Hogan, who is 25 years of age, can operate as a forward or as a winger, while Kodjia, who is 27 years old, plays as a forward.

Ivory Coast international forward Kodjia has scored 19 goals and provided 19 assists in 33 Championship appearances for Villa so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hogan has scored 14 goals and created 16 chances in 25 league matches for the Villans so far this campaign.

Villa are 12th in the Championship table at the moment with 58 points from 41 matches.

Steve Bruce’s side are not going to finish in the playoffs this season, but they will be aiming to end the season strongly in order to build for the 2017-18 campaign.
