Aston Villa chairman Tony Xia has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to Jack Grealish.
Grealish scored the only goal in Villa’s match against Wigan Athletic at Villa Park at the weekend.
The 21-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, scored in the 88th minute of the counter at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon.
Villa chairman Xia has praised Grealish on Twitter and has urged the youngster to carry on working hard.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Villa had 56% of the possession, took 15 shots of which five were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Wigan had 44% of the possession, took six shots of which none was on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
Villa are 13th in the Championship table at the moment with 28 points from 20 matches.
Steve Bruce’s side are four points behind Leeds United, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
