Aston Villa lost to Norwich City at the weekend and will face Cardiff City on Tuesday.

Aston Villa chairman Tony Xia has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to the fans ahead of the match against Cardiff City.

Villa will take on Cardiff at Villa Park in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

Steve Bruce’s side will head into the match against the Bluebirds on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Norwich City at Carrow Road in the league.

The Villans are fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 73 points from 41 matches.

Bruce’s side are seven points behind second-placed Cardiff, who have a game in hand and look set to win automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.

Chairman Xia has taken to Twitter to send a message, with Villa fans responding to his tweet.

Villa’s recent results and form have been disappointing, and the fans are right to be worried heading into the playoffs.

It is unlikely that the Villans will finish in the top two, and it is important that they head into the playoffs in some form.
