Villa returned to winning ways in the Championship on Saturday afternoon, as they got the better of the Cottagers 2-1 at home.
The Villans headed into the match at Villa Park on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home at the Molineux Stadium in the league.
The performance of the Villans against Wolves last weekend was quite disappointing, but they picked up all three points against Fulham, thanks to goals from John Terry and Albert Adomah.
Villa chairman Xia has taken to Twitter to revel in the win against Fulham, with the club’s fans responding to his message on the social networking site.
The win against Fulham on Saturday afternoon that Villa are now fifth in the Championship table with 22 points from 13 matches, five points behind second-placed Cardiff City.
