Everton and Stoke City are reportedly interested in signing Jonathan Kodjia from Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.

Aston Villa forward Jonathan Kodjia has been in superb form this season. The Villans may not end up in the top six of the Championship, but Kodjia can be proud of his contribution.
The 27-year-old forward has scored 19 goals and provided two assists for Villa so far this season.
The Ivory Coast international joined the Villans from Bristol City in the summer of 2016 for an initial transfer fee of £11 million, as reported by BBC Sport.
Kodjia has proved his worth for Villa, who will be aiming to clinch a Championship playoff spot during the 2017-18 campaign.
The forward’s performances have not gone unnoticed by Premier League clubs. According to The Mirror (10/04, p49), Everton and Stoke City are keen on Kodjia (click here to read more).
Villa chairman Tony Xia has responded to that report on social networking site Twitter.
It seems that Xia does not want speculation to affect his players, and it appears that he wants to retain the services of Kodjia for the 2017-18 campaign.
However, would Villa be able to prevent the forward from leaving if Everton or Stoke do make an offer in the summer?
