Aston Villa owner Tony Xia has taken to Twitter to deny any interest in signing Lazio playmaker Ravel Morrison this summer.
Villa made it three Championship games without defeat on Saturday evening, as they drew 0-0 away at Derby County, but Roberto Di Matteo will still be keen on adding more new faces to his side.

The Italian has already snapped up Pierluigi Gollini, Tommy Elphick, James Chester, Mile Jedinak, Aaron Tshibola and Ross McCormack this summer, but player are continually being linked with moves to Villa Park.
Today, Italian newspaper Correire Dello Sport – as reported by Football Italia – claimed that Lazio playmaker Ravel Morrison was set to join Villa having been left out of the Lazio squad.
Ravel Morrison
Morrison, 23, is best known for having come up through the ranks at Manchester United, and whilst he had bags of talent, Sir Alex Ferguson found Morrison to be something of a headache, and let him move on to West Ham in January 2012.
A controversial figure off the pitch, Morrison has struggled to settle on the pitch too, as he played just 24 games for West Ham, had loan spells at Birmingham City, QPR and Cardiff City, before making his surprise move to Lazio last summer.

Morrison has made just six appearances for the Rome-based side, and suggestions of a return to England have been rife ever since he moved to Italy – and Villa are the latest club to be linked with him.
However, club owner Tony Xia has taken to Twitter to claim that so far, Morrison hasn’t been a target for Villa, having been asked about the situation by a supporter.
