Villa played out a 1-1 draw with Leeds away from home at Elland Road in the Championship.
Sweden international central defender Pontus Jansson put the home team in the lead in the 19th minute, and Henri Lansbury restored parity for the Villans on 71 minutes.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Friday evening, hosts Leeds had 52% of the possession, took seven shots of which one was on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Villa had 48% of the possession, took eight shots of which four were on target, and earned one corner, according to BBC Sport.
The Villans are now fourth in the Championship table with 36 points from 20 matches.
