Steve Bruce’s side are doing exceedingly well and are one of the genuine contenders for promotion to the Premier League.
The Villa manager is in desperate need to make a few signings in January to add depth and quality to the side so that Villa can maintain the momentum till the end of the season.
However, with financial restrictions imposed on them, Bruce is left frustrated as Villa are yet to make a new signing in January.
When a Villa supporter tweeted Dr Tony Xia to give a mathematical update on how the transfers are progressing at the club, the club owner replied in a cryptic manner.
Villa fans were quick to speculate whether Dr. Xia was referring to the arrival of a new signing, with many decoding that the message could be about Leonando Ulloa or Axel Tuanzebe.
