The Aston Villa chairman has been on social media but his latest message is a little less clear.
Aston Villa fans have got used to chairman Tony Xia’s not so cryptic tweets in recent days, with the businessman indicating that deals for Henri Lansbury, James Bree, Birkir Bjarnason and Conor Hourihane were close to completion.
In all four cases the brief tweets, indicating how close along each deal was to being finalised, came shortly before an official announcement.
But Xia has now taken to Twitter again to post a somewhat more complex equation that has left Villa fans confused, excited or a bit of both.
Taking to social media on Monday morning, Xia wrote the following:
No, we have no idea what he is on about either, but it could be a suggestion that a few more deals, either incomings or outgoings, could be close to having the I’s dotted and the T’s crossed in the coming hours.
Either that or the Villa supremo is simply feeling a little playful, and given his recent success in the transfer window who could blame him?
