Aaron Tshibola and Mile Jedinak both missed out for Villa in the clash with Derby County.

Aston Villa owner and chairman Tony Xia has confirmed on Twitter the reasons for the absences of central midfield pair Aaron Tshibola and Mile Jedinak on Saturday.
Villa drew 0-0 with Midlands rivals Derby County at the iPro Stadium on Saturday evening to extend their unbeaten run to three matches.
Ashley Westwood and Gary Gardner started as the central midfield pair for Roberto di Matteo’s side and Gardner came the closest to scoring for either side in the first half when he hit the post with a rasping strike from 25 yards, after Ross McCormack had earlier hit the crossbar from a similar distance.

Gardner started ahead of summer signing Tshibola, who has impressed so far since his arrival from Reading earlier this summer.
Villa fans were initially puzzled about the absence of Tshibola, but Xia confirmed on Twitter that the 21-year-old missed out through injury.
Xia also confirmed that Mile Jedinak, who joined the club from Crystal Palace in a £4 million deal earlier this week, was unavailable for selection as his international clearance is not expected to come through until midweek.
Villa will be desperate to see Jedinak take his place in the side as they hope the Australian can be the answer to the club’s problem of a lack of a midfield leader.
