The Villa owner has moved to clarify certain situations.
Aston Villa owner Tony Xia has revealed that teenage striker Rushian Hepburn-Murphy still has not signed a new contract offered by the club, although he has agreed terms.
Hepburn-Murphy became Villa’s youngest-ever Premier League player in March 2015 under Tim Sherwood, but has yet to really kick his career on since that milestone
He has made just two substitute appearances so far this season, and in recent weeks his future has been the subject of some speculation.

Reports emerged that he could leave the club in search of regular first-team football, and then last month came the biggest sign that something was wrong behind the scenes.
It was suggested by some that Hepburn-Murphy’s agent was giving the youngster bad advice, and in an update offered to fans, Xia said that while the 18-year-old has still not signed, he has got himself a new agent and agreed terms with Villa on a new deal.
Xia’s tweet, fewer than 140 characters though it is, also contains some interesting information for Villa fans.
It appears as though forgotten striker Libor Kozak and midfielder Carlos Sanchez, the latter of whom is on loan at Fiorentina, will never pull on the claret-and-0blue shirt again.

Jordan Veretout also looks unlikely to return to the Villa side, with a sale seeming much more likely.
Though possibly a simple case of running out of space to mention him, the lack of response to the query about Carles Gil’s future is interesting. The Spaniard, currently on loan at Deportivo La Coruna, is technically proficient and a popular player at Villa Park amongst some sections, but has not played for the club since April last year.
