Aston Villa chairman Tony Xia has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Sunderland at home.
Villa got the better of Sunderland 2-1 at Villa Park in the Championship on Tuesday evening.
Albert Adomah put the Villans in the 10th minute, and Josh Onomah, who joined Villa on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, doubled the advantage four minutes into the second half.
Sunderland halved the deficit through Lewis Grabban on 72 minutes, but Villans held on for all three points.
Villa chairman Xia has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win for Steve Bruce’s team, and so has club legend Paul McGrath.
The win against Sunderland means that Villa are now fourth in the Championship table with 32 points from 18 matches, six points behind leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers, who will take on Leeds United at home this evening.
