Tony Watt appears to have compared Celtic summer signing Christopher Jullien to Liverpool central defender Virgil van Dijk.

Tony Watt seems to have compared Celtic defender Christopher Jullien to Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk on Twitter.
Watt, who is now on the books of PFC CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria, was impressed with the performance of Jullien during Celtic’s 1-1 draw with Rennes away from home in Europa League Group E on Thursday evening.
The 26-year-old defender – who joined the Hoops from Toulouse in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £7 million – was solid at the back and produced yet another strong performance.
Former Celtic forward Watt, 25, was following the match, and he was impressed with Jullien and seems to have compared him with Liverpool central defender Van Dijk.
Van Dijk – who is valued at €120 million (£105.59m) by the CIES Football Observatory – is one of the best defenders in the world, and was on the books of Celtic from 2013 until 2015.
Former Hibernian forward Tam McManus was also impressed with the performance of Jullien.
