Moritz Bauer has joined Neil Lennon’s Celtic on loan from Stoke City.

Tony Watt has suggested on Twitter that Moritz Bauer is a good signing for Celtic.
Scottish Premiership outfit Celtic have secured the services of Bauer on a season-long loan deal from Stoke City in the Championship in England.
According to BBC Sport, the Hoops have the option to make the loan deal of the 27-year-old right-back permanent next summer.
Former Celtic forward Watt, who now plays for Bulgarian club CSKA Sofia, believes that the Austria international is a good signing for the Hoops and has hit back at the criticism from ex-Hibernian forward and BBC pundit Tam McManus.
Smart signing for Celtic
Bauer has not been a success at Stoke since he joined the Potters from Rubin Kazan in January 2018, but he is a very good right-back who is about to hit his peak.
The right-back needed a change of scenario, and the Austrian could establish himself as an important player for the Hoops this season.
A loan deal means that Celtic are not taking a risk in the long term in landing Bauer.
