West Ham United loanee Jordan Hugill has been criticised by Tony Pulis, and some of the Middlesbrough supporters completely agree with the manager.

Hugill led the line as Middlesbrough looked to head back to the top of the Championship away at Stoke on Saturday. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing night for the forward who continues to look for his first goal for Boro.
The 26-year-old missed a good chance when put through on goal during the second-half, but Jack Butland produced a brilliant stop to deny the Hammers ace.
Pulis praised Hugill’s performance after the stalemate, but admitted that his desire to go to ground so easily left him extremely frustrated with the summer signing.

“I’ve had a chat with Jordan,” he said, as reported by Gazette Live.
“I thought Jordan went down far, far too easily a couple of times today. I don’t want that as a manager. That’s not right. We’ve sorted that out after the game. I think he went down twice dramatically. I don’t like all that nonsense. That’s got to stop, and he’ll know that now.”
Unfortunately for Hugill, there were a number of Middlesbrough fans on social media who completely agreed with Pulis’ comments. Some even felt that the manager should have said similar a while ago.

With no goals under his belt and now a telling off from his manager, it appears that Hugill has a lot of work to do if he wants to stand a chance of salvaging his West Ham career in the future.
