West Bromwich Albion’s Nacer Chadli celebrates scoring their first goal
Tottenham Hotspur found themselves held to a draw against West Bromwich Albion this weekend. Dele Alli scored a late leveller for Spurs after a former Sours player had given the home side the lead.
Many a Spurs fan was gutted to see the hard-working and popular Nacer Chadli sold in the summer.
He made a move to West Brom in the summer, much to the pleasure of Baggies fans. The Belgian international has looked brilliant at the Hawthorns and scored his fourth goal for the club in the game against Spurs.

It was a performance that left his manager Tony Pulis very impressed.
Speaking to BBC Sport after the game he had this to say about the performance of the former Spurs star:
“Chadders, he’s got that little bit of quality that we need in that final third.
“If you look at that goal, the way he’s lifted it over the goalkeeper. Lloris has made a great save from McClean. There’s not that much of an angle actually to score and he’s finished it as a top player as a class player would finish it.”

Chadli has clearly impressed since his move to West Brom and whilst Tottenham appear to be doing alright without him, some fans will wonder if perhaps later in the season Chadli will be a player they rue letting go during the summer.
West Brom fans however will continue to be pleased that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino decided he was not for him.
