The West Bromwich Albion manager has performed admirably in his role since joining the club.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis spoke to reporters during his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Everton, and opened up on the relationship he shares with the club’s owners, whilst sharing the target he has set his side for the remainder of their campaign, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail.
West Brom have performed exceptionally well on the whole this term, but that has not been enough to spare Pulis from being criticised by the club’s fans, who feel that he should have done more to bring in top tier players during the last two transfer windows.
But with the club currently sitting in eighth spot in the Premier League table, just four points adrift of seventh placed Everton, there is genuine reason for optimism at the Hawthorns.
Some have questioned the distant relationship that Pulis has with the Chinese owners, however.
And the Baggies boss responded to questions asking him whether the long distance communication has been problematic, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail:

“l’ll sit down with John (Willams – club chairman) and have a chat. There’s no rush or problems with anything we do here. He tells me what the Chinese owners are saying. There’s good communication between them and John. I think they’re over for the Arsenal game.”
He then went on to share his desire for West Brom to eclipse last season’s points tally:
“It’s going to be a tough run-in but we want to beat last year’s tally. We’ve got to work hard on a result in the next game.”
Incredibly, a win tomorrow at Goodison Park would see them match last term’s total of 43 points, with 10 games still to play.
Surely then any kind of criticism for Pulis will seem null and void.
