Queens Park Rangers loaned Sandro to West Bromwich Albion during the January transfer window.
Tony Pulis has told the Birmingham Mail that Sandro wants to make his loan switch from Queens Park Rangers to West Bromwich Albion permanent.
Albion reportedly have a clause in the loan deal which allows them to have the first option to sign Sandro in the summer.
And Pulis believes that the Brazilian is hoping that he will opt to make his stay at the Hawthorns a longer term one.
“I think he’d love to stay,” Pulis said.
“He enjoys the dressing room and has mixed in well.”
Sandro has generally played a covering role since moving to the Baggies, with his appearances being rather infrequent.
The 27-year-old has shown his quality on occasions, but he has lacked consistency.
Sandro has made five starts and four substitutes in the Premier League for Albion to date, and Pulis admits that he hasn’t made his mind up about the powerful midfielder’s future.
“He’ll play a big part in the next few games and we’ll see then,” Pulis added.
“That’ll give us an overview.”
Regardless of whether Sandro moves to West Brom, it seems unlikely that he will be back at QPR next season.
Rangers are looking to trim their squad, and it is expected that Sandro will be one of a number of players to depart Loftus Road in the summer.
