The former Ipswich Town defender is currently employed as manager of Blackburn Rovers.

Blackburn Rovers manager Tony Mowbray has had his odds on succeeding Mick McCarthy at Ipswich Town practically cut in half.
As of Thursday morning, Mowbray, the former Ipswich defender, was 10/1 for a return to Portman Road, but he is now 11/2 with bookmaker, Sky Bet.
And that puts the 54-year-old second in the running, behind Lincoln City manager Danny Cowley (7/2).

McCarthy walked out on Ipswich a month earlier than planned this week, although Town owner Marcus Evans has vowed to wait until the summer before he makes an appointment.
By then, Mowbray could well be a Championship manager with Blackburn, whom he has led to second in League One with a four point advantage over third-place Shrewsbury Town.
Other than Mowbray’s rise, there has been little movement of note in the Ipswich market, with Alan Pardew, Simon Grayson (both 7/1), Paul Cook, Paul Hurst (both 8/1) and Shefki Kuqi (9/1) still in contention.
