It looks as though, after weeks of speculation, that Nottingham Forest are going to get their man with the signing of Blackburn Rovers winger Connor Mahoney.
Forest are just one of several teams to have been linked with a move for the player recently, but according to Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray they are looking like the most likely potential destination for the youngster.

He told BBC Lancashire Sport this afternoon:
“I hope he helps Forest to the Premier League. That’s where he’s going to go, or what the rumours are.”

Mark Warburton is now trying to mould his first-team at Forest, in what will be his first full season in charge of the club. He is also hopeful of bringing in Hibernian striker Jason Cummings in the weeks to come.
The 20-year-old England youth international was signed by Blackburn from Accrington Stanley in 2013 and last season was his breakout campaign at Ewood Park. He played 21 times for the club and impressed, despite Rovers not managing to beat the drop.

Forest, who beat them to the punch on the final day of the season, will now hope to benefit with the signature of this talented young wide-man.
