Simone Zaza has made two appearances for West Ham United so far.
Tony Gale has told Sky Sports News, which was broadcast on September 20th, that he has doubts over West Ham United striker Simone Zaza.
Zaza was signed by West Ham in the summer on a season-long loan from Juventus.
The 25-year-old has now played two matches for the Hammers, but he is yet to open his goalscoring account for the London club.
And Gale has some doubts over whether Zaza will be able to make a positive impact in the Premier League.
“I’m not sure about Zaza. I wasn’t sure before he came to the club, after seeing him play for Juve about eight times,” the former Hammers star said.
Gale also had some questions over why West Ham allowed Enner Valencia to join Everton.
“Valencia has been transferred, and I found that a strange decision, when you haven’t got many strikers,” he added.
Valencia struggled to score prolifically for West Ham during his time with Bilic’s side, but they have been short of options up-front this term.
West Ham’s form has been dire this season, and they are currently sat in 19th place in the Premier League table.
The Hammers have won just one top flight match, with their next league fixture coming against Southampton at the weekend.
