Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid will face each other in the Champions League this evening.
Tottenham will take on Madrid away from home at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
While Spurs are aiming to win the Premier League title this season, Los Blancos clinched La Liga and the Champions League during the 2016-107 campaign.
Madrid are one of the strongest teams in the world, but former West Ham and Blackburn Rovers defender Gale has still found space for as many as five Tottenham players in their team.
“Well, Harry Kane for me,” said Gale on the Premier League Daily show on Sky Sports News on Tuesday morning (10:27am, October 17, 2017) when asked to pick the Tottenham players who would get into the Madrid team.
“I think so,” said Gale when asked if Kane is better than Benzema. “I think he is better than Benzema. Dele Alli, I think, will get into the team.
“I think I will put Vertonghen and Alderweireld as a pair in front of the Real Madrid pair, although I think they are very good.”
“And I look at Lloris as well and I think top top goalkeeper,” added Gale.
It is quite interesting that Gale thinks that as many as five Tottenham players are good enough to slot into the Madrid starting lineup.
This is a Madrid team who have won the Champions League for the past two seasons, and could well make it three in a row this term.
