Everton edged out the Gunners on Merseyside on Tuesday night.
Tony Gale has told Sky Sports that Idrissa Gueye was his Man of the Match as Everton edged out Arsenal at Goodison Park on Tuesday night.
Ashley Williams nodded home an 85th-minute winner as Everton picked up a first victory in six Premier League games.
Alexis Sanchez had earlier fired the Gunners ahead but Seamus Coleman levelled up with a glancing header on the stroke of half time.

The match lacked stand-out candidates for Man of the Match, with the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Sanchez being fairly quiet overall, and Gale has told Sky Sports that the former Aston Villa man deserves the nod.
“Man of the match for me has to be Idrissa Gueye. I think he set the tone. He was getting about Arsenal, closing them down and setting the tone for the fact that they were making tackles. That’s what they are all about and it raised the crowd.”

For the Toffees, they need to build on this win rather than resort back to their old ways now.
They host Liverpool on Monday night and face Hull City and Leicester to finish off the calendar year. Nine points from those three games would be huge.
