Queens Park Rangers owner Tony Fernandes has said via Twitter that he is happy with how the club’s week has gone despite his side failing to win this weekend.
QPR drew 1-1 at home to Birmingham City, with Steven Caulker cancelling out Lukas Jutkiewicz’s opener for the visitors.

The club had been beaten 2-1 at home to Premier League strugglers Sunderland in midweek, but Fernandes was keen to focus on the positives.
A week earlier QPR had been crushed 6-0 at home by a rampant Newcastle United side, before being beaten 2-1 by Huddersfield United.
The draw against Birmingham stopped their run of three straight defeats, and will have lifted the morale of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side.
Despite the draw, QPR remain in the bottom half of the table, sitting in 16th position after nine games, yet the table is so tight still, that they are only five points away from a play-off spot.
