Queens Park Rangers won 2-1 against Barnsley at Loftus Road yesterday.
Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has expressed his delight, as his side continued their good form by beating Barnsley last night.
QPR won 2-1 against Barnsley at Loftus Road yesterday, to pick up their fourth win in their last five outings.
Rangers have now been victorious in their last three home matches, and Fernandes was pleased to see the strength in depth within Holloway’s squad.
QPR were comfortable against Barnsley yesterday, with their performance catching the eye.
Rangers took the lead early on through Idrissa Sylla, and they did not let up throughout the fixture.
QPR added a second when Angus MacDonald deflected the ball into his own net, and although Barnsley did score a late goal it was to prove nothing more than a consolidation.
Rangers have now moved up to 14th place in the Championship table, and appear to have cast aside any fears that they could be dragged into a relegation fight.
Holloway’s men are next in action at the weekend, when they take on high-flying Leeds United.
