Paul Smyth has signed a new contract with Queens Park Rangers.

Tony Fernandes has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Queens Park Rangers handing Paul Smyth a new contract.
As announced on QPR’s official website today, Smyth has committed his future to QPR by signing a one-year contract extension to his contract.
This means that the 21-year-old forward will stay at Loftus Road until the summer of 2021 at least.
The Northern Ireland international joined QPR from Linfield in the summer of 2017 and has progressed well at the London club.
The youngster made seven starts and six substitute appearances in the Championship for QPR last season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
So far this campaign, the midfielder has played 70 minutes in the league for Rangers, according to WhoScored.

Former QPR chairman Fernandes has praised the club on Twitter for handing Smyth a new contract, and he has also suggested that more players could be tied down to longer terms at the Loftus Road in the near future.
Rangers are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with 39 points from 27 matches.
