QPR managed a 1-1 draw against Sunderland in the Championship clash on Saturday.
Queens Park Rangers owner Tony Fernandes has taken to Twitter to give his reaction after Rangers drew 1-1 against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
The visitors took the lead in the 37th minute, almost against the run of play, through Idrissa Sylla. The 26-year-old headed in Luke Freeman’s corner. Fernandes has congratulated Sylla for his performance on Twitter.
However, in the second half, Aiden McGeady scored a fantastic curling left footed goal to earn a point for the home side.
The pressure is mounting on Sunderland manager Simon Grayson. The Black Cats are winless at home in their last six matches.
Sylla had an opportunity to double QPR’s lead in the first half, but he shot over the bar from eight yards.
QPR had 50% ball possession, 12 shots on target, and earned nine corners during the match, according to BBC Sport.
Former QPR winger Andy Sinton also gave his opinion on Twitter. He says it is a “good away point” earned by Ian Holloway’s men.
