Queens Park Rangers managed a 0-0 draw against Burton Albion at home in the Championship on Saturday.

According to BBC Sport, QPR had 63% of ball possession with 13 shots during the match, and earned eight corners, but couldn’t break Burton’s resilience.

Jamie Mackie and Luke Freeman came close to scoring for QPR, but couldn’t get the vital breakthrough at Loftus Road.

QPR could only muster four shots on target, and drew for the fourth time this season. It was certainly a winnable game for them, but for the second time this season, they failed to win at home.

Tony Fernandes, the QPR owner, took to social networking site Twitter to express his reaction after the match.

He felt that it was a “tough” game, and that his team “has shown fight”, despite a lot of injuries.

With this result, QPR are now winless in their last three games in the Championship.
