Rangers are 17th in the Championship table at the moment with 29 points from 25 matches, just five points above the relegation zone.
Ian Holloway’s side will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers at Loftus Road in the third round of the FA Cup.
