Tony Dorigo played for Leeds during a six-year spell between 1991 and 1997.

Tony Dorigo is desperate to help his former Leeds United side stop the rot by returning to play for the Elland Road club again when the Whites face Middlesbrough on November 19.
Thomas Christiansen’s side have been in desperate form of late, losing seven out of their last eight league and cup outings with their latest defeat coming at the hands of Brentford at Griffin Park, as the Bees earned a 3-1 home win.

It leaves the Yorkshire giants in 10th place in the Championship table, after beginning the season in emphatic form that saw the Whites among the frontrunners at the top of England’s second tier.
Dorigo, who played for Leeds for six years between 1991 and 1997, declared on Twitter that he “wishes” he could play for the Whites against Middlesbrough in order to help the side get back to winning ways.
Leeds face former manager Garry Monk as they play host to Middlesbrough at Elland Road, in a match that has been moved to Sunday the 19th in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
Three points for the Whites could see Leeds re-enter the Championship play-offs if Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Ipswich Town and Aston Villa slip up. However, they will find the going tough as Boro have won their last three matches.
