Leeds United dropped more points on Monday afternoon when they were beaten by Brentford.

Sky Sports pundit Tony Dorigo has urged the Leeds United supporters to ‘get rid’ of their disappointment as they are now seemingly heading for the playoffs.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side were beaten 2-0 at Brentford on Monday, their second defeat in the space of three days, and they are now three points behind second-placed Sheffield United, who have a much better goal difference.
Speaking to Sky Sports Football (23/04/2019 at 7:30 pm), former player Dorigo believes the messages from the Leeds fans is not positive.
“It’s hugely devastating,” Dorigo told Sky Sports Football. “I admire Bielsa for not using the penalty decision as an excuse but there is no doubt that was a big reason. I think the reaction after that was a poor one from the team.
On Leeds finishing in playoffs after being in top two for most of the season: “Therein lies the problem. You look at teams that have come with a good run, like Aston Villa and they can take that into the playoffs.
“Unfortunately for Leeds, just listening to the fans it’s like it’s hugely disappointing. But they have to realise where they are and the opportunity that is still there. The pressure is huge. That disappointment, they need to get rid of that very, very quickly.”

There are two games remaining for Leeds and they are three points behind Sheffield United, who have a much better goal difference than them.
That goal difference is like an extra point for Chris Wilder’s side, who host already-relegated Ipswich on Saturday, with Leeds hosting in-form Aston Villa.
Three points for the Blades and promotion to the Premier League will be all but secured as a dropped points against Paul Lambert’s men would be a big, big shock.
As for Leeds, they host Dean Smith’s Villa, who have won a club record 10 games on the bounce as the duo could potentially meet in the playoff finals.
