Could James Milner make a return to Leeds United one day? Here he has shared who one of his Elland Road hero’s was growing up.

Tony Dorigo has labelled James Milner as ‘very smart’ after the ex-Leeds United ace shared that he had Dorigo’s name on the back of his shirt when growing up.
Boyhood Leeds fan Milner came through the ranks at Elland Road, and despite not representing the club for over a decade now, he is still well remembered by the Whites faithful.
Nonetheless, the now-Premier League winner shared that it was the name of ‘Dorigo’ who he first idolised as a little kid, as he admitted that nobody wouldn’t have probably guessed that, as quoted by Leeds Live.
After hearing his comments, former Whites star Dorigo sent this message to Milner from his personal Twitter account, as he called him ‘very smart’:
Milner is now hoping to add another Premier League trophy to his cabinet as Liverpool aim to end their long-awaited English League title drought.
The Reds aren’t the only ones hoping to end a barren run because Leeds themselves are hoping to finally make a return to England’s top-flight.
It would be very interesting if Leeds do earn promotion whether or not Milner would make a return to Elland Road because it is something the fans would love to see.
It would be a fitting way for Leeds to mark their Premier League return, and it would be fitting for Milner to perhaps end his career at where it all started.
But before any of that can take place, Leeds need to do their job in regards to helping them club earn promotion to the Premier League this season.
