Former Leeds United player Tony Dorigo has sent a message of advice to Whites co-owner Andrea Radrizzani.

Radrizzani acquired a 50 per cent stake in the Yorkshire side earlier this year, and is thought to have an option to purchase the remaining 50 per cent from fellow Italian Massimo Cellino this summer.

The well-connected 42-year-old met with Leeds’ class of 92′ title-winning side on Tuesday, and appears to have made a positive impression on Dorigo, who was named fans’ player of the year that season.

“I wish you nothing but success at #lufc,” the former England defender wrote, replying to an earlier tweet from Radrizzani.

“Leave nothing unturned in giving the club, fans and city what they deserve. In bocca al lupo (good luck).”

Radrizzani’s investment has so far helped Leeds to bolster their squad with the loan signings of Mo Barrow and Alfonso Pedraza, whose deal could be turned permanent at the end of the campaign, and buy key defender Pontus Jansson outright.

And despite dropping out of the top six in recent weeks, Garry Monk’s side remain in the hunt for a play-off place with Norwich the visitors to Elland Road on Saturday.

Wins for Reading, Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham, however, would put an end to Leeds’ hopes if the Whites fall short against the Canaries.
