Leeds United’s off-the-ball work won praise this past weekend.

Tony Dorigo has told LUTV that he was blown away by Leeds United’s work rate in the win at Wigan Athletic on Sunday.
Leeds came from behind to beat the Latics 2-1 at The DW Stadium as Marcelo Bielsa’s side moved top of the Championship.
The Whites have been winning praise all season long for their performances and free-flowing brand of attacking football under the renowned Argentine coach.
But United’s off-the-ball work courted acclaim against Wigan and one moment in particular summed up the Bielsa effect.
Pablo Hernandez conceded possession shortly after a defensive corner, but within seconds there were seven of Leeds’ 10 outfield players back defending to snuff out the counter attack.
Dorigo told LUTV: “Hernandez loses the ball and they’re on the counter, so we have to get back. Where are the Wigan players? Well Leeds players just run past them all.
“Seven players. It’s just amazing. Those seven players said, ‘There’s no way we’re going to let you score. We have the desire, the fitness and the belief to get back’. It’s just ridiculous.”
It was a moment in the game which should certainly worry some of Leeds’ Championship rivals.
It spoke volumes for how much the Whites players want to win games en route to Premier League promotion and with that kind of desire, nobody would back against Bielsa’s side reaching the top flight come next May.
Next up for Leeds is a visit to fellow promotion-chasing West Brom on Saturday evening.
