Leeds United’s Lewis Baker impressed Tony Dorigo recently.

Tony Dorigo has admitted to LUTV that he is excited about Lewis Baker’s start to life as a Leeds United player.
The 23-year-old joined Leeds on a season-long loan from Chelsea last month.
As of now, Baker is still the Whites’ only recognised signing of the summer transfer window.
The midfielder, who earns around £20,000 per week at Chelsea [Total Sportek], impressed in United’s 1-1 draw with York on Thursday in a pre-season friendly.
Baker is coming off a disappointing loan spell at Middlesbrough last term, but former Leeds star Dorigo hopes that he can put things right at Elland Road this season.
“For me the outstanding player was Lewis Baker. He does look very good indeed,” he told LUTV. “I like a player that plays in that last third and can make something happen.
“I kind of think this is his opportunity. Now it has to be this year. He has a great opportunity at Leeds.
“He’s got ability, of that there’s no doubt. Can he do it week in, week out in the Championship? We’re going to find out.”
On the back of his performance in midweek, it looks obvious that Marcelo Bielsa has plans on playing Baker regularly in midfield this season, but with who?
The Chelsea-owned ace has plenty of potential partners in the middle of the park, and it’ll be fascinating to see who Bielsa pairs him with.
Leeds kick off their Championship campaign on August 5 when Stoke City visit West Yorkshire.
