Leeds United have the chance to move to the top of the Championship table at the weekend if they beat Sheffield Wednesday in the early kick-off.

Tony Dorigo thinks that Kalvin Phillips and Ben White have been Leeds United’s most ‘consistent performers’ this season, as he also urged Jack Harrison to improve his ‘end product’.
Leeds are currently sitting second in the Championship table and they can move top of the table early on Saturday lunchtime, that’s if they can beat Sheffield Wednesday away from home.
During their most recent encounter, Leeds recorded a 1-1 draw at Preston North End, with the above three players all playing and Harrison providing the assist for Eddie Nketiah’s late header.
Club legend Dorigo shared that defensive-minded duo Phillips and White have the consistent ones this season and as urged Harrison to improve, but he did praise the mental side of his game.
“The most consistent performers this season, Kalvin Phillips and Ben White, were once again in superb form,” Dorigo wrote in his personal blog. “Harrison had a decisive game, although he has room to improve his end product.
“His tenacity and willingness to keep trying is undoubtedly a testament to his mentality. Let’s not forget Harrison has had a hand in the last four Leeds United goal – he now needs to chip in with the odd one himself.”

It perhaps isn’t a surprise that two defensive-minded players are Leeds’ best and most consistent performers as Marcelo Bielsa’s side are lacking that cutting edge in front of goal.
The Elland Road faithful are looking for more oomph as there is a slight worry that the problems that they faced last season is rearing its ugly head once again.
Either way, Nketiah is yet to start a Championship game for Leeds and fans will be hoping that his potential start(s) can help fix that problem in the attacking third.
