Jack Grealish returned to the Aston Villa side as they thumped Derby County in the Championship on Saturday.

Tony Daley has expressed his amazement on Twitter at Jack Grealish’s ‘wonder’ strike during Aston Villa’s 4-0 win over Derby County on Saturday afternoon.
The 23-year-old had not played for Dean Smith’s side since their 2-2 draw against West Brom in mid-December, and in the meantime, Villa recorded only two wins without their star man.
But upon his return, the Midlands outfit arguably produced their best performance of the season, which was topped off by Grealish’s thunderous volley from outside the area.
Former Villa speedster Daley sent this simple message about Grealish and his spectacular retuning goal against Frank Lampard’s side, as posted on his personal Twitter account.
It is fair to say that it was an utterly dominant performance from Villa in front of their own supporters as they recorded only their second win of 2019.
It has been a tough few months for Smith, but he is now beginning to see progress in his team and individual players are beginning to stand out.

Left-back Kortney Hause, who was moved into centre-back after Tommy Elphick got injured in the second half, produced arguably his best performance in a Villa shirt.
Centre-back Tyrone Mings is proving to be a leader at the heart of the club’s defence, while Whelan and Hourihane produced their best performances of the season against the Rams.
