Tottenham Hotspur are still unbeaten in Premier League action this season.
Tony Cottee has told Sky Sports News, which was broadcast on 26th September, that Tottenham Hotspur are doing everything right at the moment.
Spurs are currently second in the Premier League, after going unbeaten through their first six matches.
Tottenham won their last match 2-1 against Middlesbrough, and West Ham United fan, Cottee, admits that it pains him to see the Lilywhites doing so well.
“They have some good players and they have a good squad. They’ve signed up all their young players,” he said. “They are doing everything right. It pains me to say it as a West Ham fan, but they are going in the right direction and doing really well.”
Pochettino has transformed Spurs’ fortunes since taking charge, and they appear to have built on their impressive form last season.
Tottenham finished in third place in the Premier League table last term, and it looks as if they have enough quality to challenge for a Champions League spot again this time around.
Pochettino managed to add quality in key areas over the summer transfer window, to ensure that there was more depth in his squad this term.
Tottenham are next in action on Tuesday against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League, before they face Manchester City at the weekend.
