Leeds United’s Chris Wood is reportedly wanted by Southampton, Stoke City and Swansea City in the summer transfer window.

Former Celtic and Aston Villa striker Tony Cascarino said on Drive on talkSPORT on Thursday afternoon (broadcast from 4pm, July 27, 2017) that Leeds United striker Chris Wood is worth £20 million.

Wood is one of the best strikers in the Championship and was in stunning form for Leeds last season.

The New Zealand international scored 27 goals and provided four assists in 44 Championship appearances for the Whites during the 2016-17 campaign.

Leeds were in the running for the Championship playoffs for most of the season and narrowly failed to clinch a place in the top six.

The 25-year-old former West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City striker’s performances last season have seen him linked with moves away from Elland Road in the summer transfer window.

According to The Mirror, Premier League trio Stoke City, Swansea City and Southampton are interested in Wood, who is reportedly valued at £20m by Leeds.

Former Villa and Millwall striker Tony Cascarino has praised Wood, and believes that the New Zealand international is worth £20m.

“Yeah, I think he is,” said Cascarino on Drive on talkSPORT on Thursday afternoon (broadcast from 4pm, July 27, 2017) when asked if Wood is worth £20m. “He got 27 goals last year in the Championship. What’s he, 25, Chris?”

“I would say one thing,” added Cascarino. “He was the most improved player I had seen last year in the Championship.”
