Arsenal have not tasted defeat in any competition since August, as that run of form has resulted in them moving into the Premier League’s top three.

Tony Cascarino has warned Arsenal manager Unai Emery that the managers of teams who finish outside of the top-four this season ‘will lose their jobs’.

The Times have recently claimed that Emery’s job at the Emirates Stadium could be at risk if the club don’t qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season.

Last season, Arsenal finished fifth in the Premier League table, and then lost the Europa League final to Chelsea – As a result, they missed out on Champions League football on two occasions.

Speaking to Weekend Sports Breakfast on TalkSport (12/10/2019 at 9:30am), former Republic of Ireland international Cascarino had this to say about Emery’s future.

On reports that Emery might be moved on if Arsenal don’t finish top-four: “I think that’s the case for the top biggest teams in the country,” Cascarino told TalkSport.

“Two of the six will lose their jobs. His team look like they are emerging, at the moment.”

At this moment in time, it is rosy in Arsenal’s garden because they are sitting third in the Premier League table.

Added with that, they are going strong in Europe and have qualified for the next round of the EFL Cup, but it seems as though finishing in those top-four places is the one for the Gunners.

Whilst Arsenal have their defensive options, they do arguably boast the best attacking threat outside of the top two teams in Liverpool and Manchester City.
