Arsenal could do with Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi’s, suggests Tony Cascarino.

Tony Cascarino suggested on the Weekend Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT (9:14am, June 16, 2019) that Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi would be a good signing for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The former Chelsea striker, though, has suggested that Ndidi would probably be too expensive for Arsenal.

Cascarino said on the Weekend Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT (9:14am, June 16, 2019): “I think Arsenal could do with Ndidi of Leicester. Probably too expensive. Probably wouldn’t be able to go there.”

Moving for Wilfred Ndidi

Ndidi is one of the best young midfielders in the Premier League, and the 22-year-old is the kind of player that Arsenal could do with.

The Gunners need more bite in their midfield department, and the Nigeria international would add exactly that.

However, with Arsenal not in the Champions League next season, it is going to be hard for the North London outfit to convince the midfielder to move to the Emirates Stadium, especially with Leicester set to become a force under manager Brendan Rodgers.

Ndidi has been on the books of Leicester since January 2017 when he joined from Genk for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £15 million.
