Tony Cascarino comments on Tottenham Hotspur and England duo Harry Kane and Kieran Trippier.

Kane is one of the best strikers in the world, and the Tottenham star played well for England against Spain in the UEFA Nations League on Monday evening.
Ahead of the match, Madrid and Spain international central defender Ramos spoke highly of the 25-year-old, as quoted in The Guardian.
Former Chelsea striker Cascarino has suggested that if Madrid come calling at the end of the season, then Kane should take the chance to move to the Spanish and European giants – advice that Spurs fans will certainly not like.
Cascarino has also been critical of Tottenham and England international right-back Kieran Trippier, suggesting that the 28-year-old is not good enough defensively to handle two opponents after the match against Spain.
“He has a remarkable goalscoring record but Kane has not actually won anything yet, so, unless things change dramatically at Tottenham this season, there has to be a second part of his career, which is to join one of the big clubs in world football, such as Real,” Cascarino wrote about Kane in The Times.
“All being well he’ll have experienced playing in Spurs’ new stadium by the end of the season, so if the chance comes in his mid-20s, he has to move on.”
Cascarino wrote about Trippier in The Times: “On another night, given how open they were on that side, England could have fallen 2-0 down.
“You could see Trippier screaming for help. He is a great offensive player but he is not good enough defensively to handle two opponents. Raheem Sterling needed to understand the situation and support his team-mate.”

Back in action
Tottenham will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on West Ham United away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are fifth in the league table at the moment with 18 points from eight matches, just two points behind leaders Manchester City.
