Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino has praised Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane in The Times.
The former Republic of Ireland international was pleased to see Kane help Spurs get the better of Crystal Palace at home at the weekend.
Spurs won 1-0 against London rivals Palace at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Victor Wanyama scored the winner for Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the 82nd minute of the encounter.
Erik Lamela’s corner was headed towards goal by Kane, and Wanyama nodded the ball into the Palace net from close range.
Cascarino was happy to see the England international striker play his role in the win.
The former Aston Villa striker has also (amusingly) asked why Kane was not taking the corner.
The 23-year-old was taking corners and free kicks for England at the 2016 European Championship in France in the summer.

Kane’s deliveries were far from perfect, and Cascarino appears to have taken a dig at then England head coach Roy Hodgson for putting the prolific striker on corner duty.
“Tottenham Hotspur’s goal, scored by Victor Wanyama, was set up by a strong header from Harry Kane,” Cascarino wrote in The Times.
“It was classic centre-forward play, a big striker getting up powerfully. But, I wondered, why wasn’t he taking the corner?”
Kane has yet to score in the Premier League this season, but the striker is playing well and appears to be getting back to his best.
The 23-year-old had a disappointing Euro 2016 campaign for England, but Tottenham fans should be optimistic about him bouncing back and scoring 20 goals and more in the Premier League this season.
