Tony Cascarino has brutally claimed that Brendan Rodgers ‘hasn’t got a humble way of how he sees himself sometimes’ as he also stated that the media ‘don’t like’ the former Celtic man.

Rodgers left his managerial post at Parkhead earlier this week to take up the hot seat at English Premier League side Leicester City to the anger of the Bhoys supporters

Since his departure, his former club have won two games on the bounce, whilst Rodgers suffered a last-minute defeat in his managerial debut at Watford on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking to the Weekend Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT (02/03/2019 at 7:40 am), Cascarino shared some strong words about Rodgers which Celtic fans will love.

“I don’t know Brendan, but I know a lot of people that have been involved with Brendan,” Cascarino told talkSPORT. “A lot of media don’t like Brendan Rodgers. Now, some of it is to do with how he acted at Liverpool where he was given the job and he had his own picture in his office of himself.

“Unforutnley, Brendan hasn’t got a humble way of how he sees himself sometimes – But Brendan walking away and thinking it’s a great opportunity for him, with 13 games to go, he’ll never be forgiven for that.”
