Liverpool striker came off the bench at Old Trafford

Daniel Sturridge came off the bench after half an hour in Liverpool’s draw with Manchester United.
He replaced Roberto Firmino after his injury during the 0-0 draw at Old Trafford.
Pundit Tony Cascarino was not impressed with Sturridge’s performance, picking him out as the worst of several disappointing Liverpool players.
Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah were also subject of criticism.
He told The Times: “The Liverpool forward Sadio Mané gave it away so many times he was nearly United’s man of the match.
“Daniel Sturridge was shocking when he came on and Mohamed Salah looked out of sorts. But this wasn’t a one-off for Liverpool.”

United suffered three first half injuries themselves, and were already without Nemanja Matic and Anthony Martial.
An away point at Old Trafford is not a bad result for Liverpool, but with more ambition and cohesiveness from the attacking players, they could have grabbed all three as United were there for the taking.
